This thing comes and goes from my local craigslist every season and it’s just, well, fantastic. I don’t usually like to give these idiots who go on Craigslist, the world’s biggest garage sale, and play Carmax with their private party no haggle pricing the time of day. But for this, I would gladly make an exception. Particularly because the price doesn’t seem that out there, not anymore anyway. Originally he wanted 42 grand for it.

Get a 2007-2010 S550 for around $10k less
spend the extra money on warranty

I actually don’t mind no-haggling. Haggling is bloody annoying. If I’m a customer, get out of here with that ‘make me an offer’ crap, just tell me how much you want so I can get this friggin transaction over with already. If I’m a seller and you don’t like the price I’ve set, just go buy something else.

And if you want to do that, fine. Pay for an ad on Cars.com. The minute it goes on craigslist, you’ve lost the right to price and sell like that.

I don’t know where you got that idea from. The guy has every “right” to price it however he wants.
Having said that, writing, “Price as stated is “no haggle.”” rubs me the wrong way. Everyone else just says that the price is firm.

You’re missing the point, Nibby...

No, not really. I get it, V12 fully loaded S class.
Personally I would skimp on the V12 and settle for an S550.

Not generally a type of car that sells well on Craigslist. Should stick to EBay, Auto Trader or Cars.com. Also Craigslist buyers want to haggle. Saying you won’t will not stop them from asking for a lower price.

HOLY SHITBALLS TAKE MY MONEY! Too bad it's a 2007, I'd much prefer a post facelift model.

So this is how you react when you don’t get your way. I see. I’ll keep this in mind in my future dealings with you.

I actually don’t like the post-facelift steering wheels. And I wish it had the standard 5 spoke wheels on it. I can live with the 21 spokes, but I like the ball polished aluminum ones better.
